These shoes are terrific. Lugz beat Sketchers hands down. Better support, better design on the fell of how it holds your foot. When your feet are not properly supported it leads to back aches. Lugz are always comfortable, I have this model dot com and another model. Great stuff, reasonable best price on amazon.

I had the original version of this I bought in the late 90s during my highschool years and wore them the hell out. That model had these plastic panals where the embossed decoration you have now is, which was similar but plastic and glued on and over the years it tore off but they have since eliminated that. Anyway, I got this type of boot because I am not a fan of the high top construction worker type of boots ala Timberlands. I wanted something that did not look like a boot and yet was as durable as one for mild winters we have in my northern city. As I completely wore out the original, I went to see if this model was available since it's been a decade and low and behold they updated it. I'm not sure if it is just my feet but I had to go a size smaller than I usually get, so some folks should keep that in mind if you have not so big feet. All around a good winter sneaker design of a boot that I highly recommend. I have had this boot for probably 5-6 years now but I have not worn it out as hard as the originals since I have to wear special boots for my current occupation so I cannot say if it as long lasting as the originals.
