I've had this boot for a month and I have very little to complain about. It does its job and that's all I can ask from it. When I went out to purchase boots for THE worst winter the US has seen in decades, I sought something simple and solid; nothing with too many bells and whistles and style over substance. It's a good boot. The lining keeps my feet warm. The rubber shell keeps my feet dry. It isn't heavy and too Frankensteinish. If anything, I wish it had more cushion, a little more arch support. So, yea, a good solid boot. But again, I've only owned them for a month. Time will tell if these Tretorns are a good investment.

It was honestly a shot in the dark if I ordered the right size, but i did!
They are comfy, but I don't like the ankle height. It only comes up to maybe the top of my ankle bone, when I thought the bottom of the material at the ankle part of the book might go to.
I don't like the bottom of the boots either, I feel like there is a bump or something right down the middle or the boot and I feel like the boots are relying on me to keep my ankles from rolling. It's not like it takes effort to stand in them, I would just prefer if they were flatter and the ankle support was taller.
I'm a shoe size 11 and I got an 11 1/2, and they're alright.
I find that the top of the foot part puts too much pressure on my foot so I lose blood flow, but if you're walking you'll be fine. Perhaps I have to let them form to my feel though.
They came in a shoe box with the tags on and everything, so no problem with the packaging (they're also rubber, so it wouldn't really matter).
The fluff on the inside seems a little cheap to me, but it's comfy.
If I had a pair to try on and find "the pair for me" it would be a good buy, but guessing on the internet isn't for everyone.
Overall I'm satisfied with the boots and plan on using them this winter.
It's also fun telling your friends you've got European boots...

This rain "boot" is everything I was looking for. I actually wanted a boot that looked more like a shoe, and these are perfect. They are light weight, but strong and sturdy, and the lining keeps my feet nice and warm. I was also concerned about slippery surfaces, but these boots offer superior traction. I'm glad I purchased these; I am perfectly satisfied.
